The Gift of Photography

A quote that changed my perspective on life is, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”. The gift of photography has not only brought value to my life, but has allowed me to serve others through creativity and connection.

Back in 2019, I got asked to collaborate with an active member in our local community, Cristyle Wood Egitto (also known for her food blog, Eat Palm Beach). Cristyle wrote a book through the international travel series known as “111 Places You Must Not Miss”. This one would be highlighting somewhere special, the county I was born and raised. As an avid local of my home town, I said yes.

The goal was to capture 111 photos that would represent each place. Having no idea a global pandemic was on the rise, we were met with several challenges when the world shut down. With a lot of help and hard work I’m thrilled to share that we made it to the finish line.

I cannot express enough thanks to the 111 places team for giving me such an incredible opportunity. Being able to represent my community through my creative passion is surreal. I gave this my all and I could not have done it alone. Working with Cristyle has been one of the greatest experiences in itself. I have learned skills in communication and delegation that I will carry with me throughout my career. Thank you for believing in me and valuing my work enough to be a visual representation of your writing. I also want to give a special thanks to Geo Lehn for his involvement in the process. Taking the day to drive me to my locations when I had car troubles, being a certified drone pilot to help with a shot, and for being a good friend.

THE BOOK IS OFFICIALLY OUT!!

111 Places is a guidebook that can be enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. You can read about the uncovered art, history, and culture and discover the unique gems for yourself.
